Boomerang Introduces Masha and the Bear For The First Time in Latin America25 November 2014
Masha is a smart and restless little girl who’s learning everything from the world around her. Bear, a big-bellied and big-hearted lovable guy turns into her most unexpected partner in every adventure. Meet them every day in Boomerang, and also in the mornings at Cartoon Network’s Boomerang Club.
For the first time in Spanish for all Latin America, the animated series Masha and the Bear is broadcasted every day at 9am and 9pm on Boomerang, and also every November morning from 8am to 9am on Club Boomerang, a super fun hour with the best of Boomerang’s shows on Cartoon Network.
“We are very glad to bring to our Latin American audience a show that reflects Boomerang spirit so well, in terms of fun, humor and freshness”, said Pablo Zuccarino, Vice President and Channel Manager for Boomerang Latin America. “Many kids across the region already met Masha and the Bear through the Internet; now they can enjoy these friends’ adventures in their own language with the whole family”, he added.
The stories take place in the forest and often unfold somewhere close to the Bear’s house, the place where this former circus performer enjoys a nice quiet life… until he becomes Masha’s most unexpected partner of adventures. Throughout the series, Masha finds the way to cause havoc in the Bear’s otherwise peaceful and uneventful existence. They meet many other characters along the way: there are the curious Squirrels, the always hungry Wolves, the cunning Hare, the Hedgehogs, the mysterious Female Bear, even the Panda and the Tiger and many others.
